Recycled Art
The structure of these critters usually contains water bottles, cans, plastic cups, cardboard, and cashew containers covered by faux fur and held together by tape and lots of hot glue!
Design Projects

These projects were done for an Intro to Graphic Design course practicing the design principles. The goal of the projects was to learn the design principles and apply them in the assignments. The quote, menu, social media poster, and graduation announcement are all mock-ups to enhance my understanding of visual hierarchy and contrast. To find more mockups and completed projects, visit my portfolio on Behance.
Sketches

These sketches were compiled while taking Drawing I and II. The challenge I faced when creating them was to show depth and value with charcoal and pencils. Using contour, cross contour, line hatching, and edges was the main focus of the courses. A solution to showing depth was to overlap my still life objects so their shadows carried over one another.
Digital Art

These pieces of art were created using Procreate, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. Some challenges I faced with creating these images were creating unity and depth. Certain projects had separate goals, yet all the pieces focused on a cognitive approach and the Gestalt theory. Being an art student at Liberty University different pieces had to follow the guidelines of the assignments.
Felted and Pompom Friends

These little guys are created mostly from wool, yarn, hot glue, and beads. Pompom puppies originally got me into crafts and art from a Klutz pom-pom puppy-making kit. From there I’ve expanded the basic build to more realistic creatures. Later on, I took up felting, and from there it really exploded.
Mixed Media

I’ve had the opportunity to experiment with a lot of different art media on my journey of being an artist. Some examples are scratch art, string art, ceramics, and painting on a variety of canvases from wood boards to my bedroom wall.
