What a summer! The competition is over and Esther now has an incredible new home:)
What a competition it was! I really felt the Lord at work in my life this week. In my weakest moments (I had quite a few of those) I felt His strength to help me through. This was my very first show ever, with roughly 100 days of training a wild mustang (a challenging combination)! I was acutely aware of my own weakness as I dealt with a nervous horse, anxiety of not finding a home for Esther, lack of sleep, and feeling like a complete failure at times, but this allowed me to have the opportunity to see God take care of me. What a cool experience. Needless to say, Esther and I didn’t place very well in anything, but because of our humbling weak state I got to see a miracle take place. There were so many people praying for me this week and if you were one of them, I just want to say thank you so much. I couldn’t have done it without your prayers. Esther went home to an amazing family at auction for a very generous price. Here I thought I was coming home with this horse because no one wanted her, and instead my horse was adopted by some very cool people that adore her. It was so cool seeing God do what in my eyes was the impossible. Thank you Jesus!
